Does Fire Cider contain “The Mother”?
We start with raw, unfiltered, organic apple cider vinegar(ACV) that contains the “mother.” Those strands of proteins, enzymes, & friendly bacteria that can give our tonic a murky, cobweb-like appearance are considered beneficial & healthy to consume
Is it a Juice?
Our tonic is not a ready-to-drink beverage or a digestive bitter. Fire Cider can be taken as a shot, but if you’re not into drinking straight vinegar you can add it to juice, tea, water, or seltzer. And a little goes a long way!
Is Fire Cider for Everyone? Even Children?
Kids under the age of two shouldn’t consume raw ACV or raw honey. While pregnant women can safely consume pasteurized apple cider vinegar, the jury’s out on the raw stuff, so talk to your doctor before adding it to your diet. Also it’s not for pets!
Does Fire Cider Need to be Refrigerated?
ACV and honey are two of nature’s greatest preservatives. This means our tonics are shelf-stable and don’t need to be refrigerated! Keep your bottle tightly capped in a cool, dry, easy-to-reach spot in the kitchen.
Does Fire Cider Expire?
Each batch of Fire Cider is best when consumed within 24 months from the bottling date marked on the label.

Describe your products in 3 words.
Spicy, Sweet, Tangy
How did you come up with the idea for this product?
As a child, I never suspected that my grandmother’s kitchen concoctions would have a lifelong effect on my health and success. Elisabeth, a feisty German farm girl and unabashed inventor of kitchen concoctions, used to make several home remedies meant to help keep our family hale and hearty. Dealing with yearly allergies and infections as an adult lead me to tinker with one of her old recipes—a mash-up of onions, garlic, and honey that she steeped in mason jars on a sunny windowsill—giving it a modern makeover with spicy-sweet flavors. A country doctor suggested I add apple cider vinegar for its wealth of health-enhancing properties. Over the course of the next decade, I refined my recipe into what would become our Fire Cider Wildflower Honey flavor.
After watching my wife Amy struggle with her health throughout the cold Berkshire winters, I offered her some of my Fire Cider. She noticed a profound effect on her overall well-being and energy levels and suggested we make a batch for a local artisan fair in 2010. By the end of the day, we had sold out. When people showed up on our doorstep asking for refills a month later, we knew we’d hit on a winning formula! From there we worked to create a company dedicated to making customers’ lives a little healthier and more exciting, one flavorful sip at a time!

We produce the most potent ACV tonic available on the market. We do not cut corners, nor water things down. Each step of the way we are looking at how to realize the best quality product and we spare no expense to uphold our quality standards. This commitment roots back to my heritage and more specifically my grandmother’s philosophy and approach to life.
